I just picked up this cart ... He said it was a 1970 something Cushman combo. I want to convert the golf cart from electric to gas.
I was told that the lights work and everything else but needs new batteries and don't have a charger. The drive configuration looks like an inline set up same as an automobile .
Will it be difficult to set up with a horizontal shaft motor ? I saw a button YouTube who seemed to remove some drive assembly on the differential than cut the shaft and weld another piece and a small gear but I'm open to any suggestions .
Nothing against electric ... I prefer horsepower to Volts and fill up to charge time .
Need a guide to show me the way
Thanks everyone
