I've been looking for a light kit for an 1989 36v Club Car DS. Everything I see says "93 and up". I can't see much of a body style difference between an 89 and a 93. Is there a difference in the body that would effect a light kit?

    Thanks.

What caused my confusion was that replacement cowls use the same part number for years 1982-2004. But light kits list differences between 1992 and 1993.
My new-to-me cart has some cosmetic damage to the front corner. The ones that list as 1982 have a thin lip or bezel. The 1993 ones have a much larger lip around the edge which I think will cover up the the hole. Ergo, add lights and cut out the damage for $150 or buy a new one unpainted for $400.

I know there is a difference in the older Club Car DS bodies but if I'm no mistaken it's the rear wheel wells that are different. I'm not 100% sure but I think the 92 and up headlights will fit your 1989 Club Car.

It's not perfect, but I'm pleased. Installed the recpro street kit. So it would have the whole brake lights, horn, signals thing. Also added a rear view, windshield, led battery monitor, and dual usb port.
