Thinking About Electric to Gas Conversion On a EZGO Golf Cart

OK, my apologies, new here, I prolly could have looked around, but I am a dumbass....not really. So, I understand an R1 motor is not practical. I have a electric EZGO TXT golf cart that I want to build. As much as I would like drag, no, just something fun. Should I do a conversion from electric to gas? Dump the electric motor and put a gas engine in? I am taking her to our ranch which has hills. 160 acres of jeep trails. Yes, I will lift and suspension upgrades. If I were to convert this golf cart from electric to gas what would you recommend engine wise? Suggestions please.

Most go with either a Honda or Briggs and Stratton V Twin. Seeing how your cart was originally electric you're going to need a gas rear end. Or you could leave it electric, get in running and if you don't like the electric sell it and buy a gas cart.
