    Gday guys,
Have a 1974 HD gas model.

Any of you had the rear shock out or a new one and felt it's compression & extension?

I have a new one here
    part/model # 5014-1

& it basically has no compression dampening, but has resistance to extend. Is this normal?

Only dampening on the upstroke. Guess it stops spring bounce but can't imagine it will do much on rough ground?

Please let me know what your rear shock acted like when you've had one out.

That sounds right. Golf cart shocks don't have as much resistance are a car shock.
