How long does a 1992 Club Car usually last?

How long does a 1992 Club Car usually last? Is it worth getting all new batteries for it when they're dead? The headlights/brake lights don't work and the frame that holds the batteries up is pretty corroded.

All 6 batteries are dead and need to be replaced. Bought Duracell GC8 from Sam’s but won’t fit b/c just a hair too long to fit on sides where they added angle irons because frame under batteries is corroding. Trying to decide if it’s worth it to try to work on this (not even sure if we can remedy by ourselves) or pay more to have golf cart store replace them for us (and buy their more expensive batteries) or just sell it as is. The headlights/break lights don’t work either. We honestly hardly use it anyway. Feel like we’re putting money into a sinking ship. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

By the way you describe it sounds like it’s more than you’d be willing to take on in a DIY project. Sell it and use money towards a turn key cart.
