I am trying to figure out what kind of golf cart this is.. See attached

Once I figure out what it is I was hoping someone could tell me where the cables go that are circled and what they are for. They both are similar to the throttle cable. Just put a new battery in it but still only goes about 1 mile an hour
I would appreciate any help I could get Thank you

the throttle cable from carb has to be connected to the governor lever.

Also did you mean the cable in the second pic? Also where's the governor. Sorry this is all new to me. I do work on my truck all the time but carts are new. Helping a broke friend out.

Tilt the seat forward, push the gas pedal and look at the carb. Watch the cable connected to the carb and see how much it moves with opening up the carb butterfly.

As for what make is the cart. It's a Yamaha golf cart and early G series. Same rearend from a G2 thru G14 I believe.

Your cart should have 2 cables. One from the pedal to the gov. And one from the gov to the carb. By the looks of your pic, someone may have disconnected the pedal to gov cable from the gov and connected that cable directly to the carb.

Don't know where the cable from the gas petal is supposed to go. I don't see a place to put it

Accel pedal to gov goes here. (see pic) Factory parts are a pin, R-pin and a tiny bushing for the pin goes threw and goes on the hole in that gov spring. I cant tell in your pics nor can I go off memory, but there should be bracket there to hold the pedal to gov cable. Do you see a bracket/mount for that cable?

Also I take it, in this pic, that cable connected to the carb is the pedal to gov cable? The other cable in the pic is the gov to carb cable? If so, then that cable is held in place on the carb with a c-clip.
